Photo: Focus Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the international community to pressurize the country to bring back Myanmar citizens to Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina called on the Indonesian Ambassador to Indonesia Rina Pritiyasimarasi to meet Swammano at her office on Tuesday. After the meeting, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told this to the reporters. The Prime Minister said, "To provide shelter to a large number of people in Myanmar, a great burden for Bangladesh. We only gave shelter to them on humanitarian grounds. ' The Prime Minister said, 'Our policy is very clear, No one will be allowed to use our territory to carry out subversive activities in neighboring countries. " The Bangladesh Ambassador praised the Bangladesh government for providing shelter to a large number of Myanmar people, considering that Bangladesh took appropriate steps in this regard. Pointing out the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and Indonesia in May 1972, Sheikh Hasina said that friendship and cooperation between the two countries has been prevailing since then. He underscored the importance of greater economic cooperation between the countries of South Asia and Southeast Asia and said that it will benefit the countries of the two regions more. Referring to the initiative of establishing 100 special economic zones of the government for the country and foreign investors, the Prime Minister urged Indonesia to invest in this economic zone for mutually beneficial purposes. The Indonesian Ambassador said, Economic cooperation between the two countries has been increasing since last few years. They want to be a development partner of Bangladesh for a long time. He conveyed the interest of Indonesia to set up LNG-based power plants capable of generating 1600 megawatt of electricity in Bangladesh and setting up a pharmaceutical factory in joint venture.
